Zero Conditional

In zero conditional sentences, the tense in both parts of the sentence is the simple present.

(Në fjalitë e Zero Conditional, koha e foljeve në të dyja pjesët e fjalisë është koha e tashme.)

Function (Funksioni):

The zero conditional is used to make statements about the real world, and often refers to general truths, such as scientific facts. In these sentences, the time is now or always and the situation is real and possible.

"Zero Conditional" përdoret për të bërë fjali rreth botës reale, dhe zakonisht i referohet të vërtetave të përgjithëshme si edhe fakteve shkencore. Në këto fjali koha është tani ose gjithmonë dhe situata është reale ose e mundur.

➡ If the glass falls, it breaks (Nëse gota bie, thyhet).

➡ If you freeze water, it becomes solid (Nëse e ngrin ujin, bëhet i ngurtë).

➡ When it snows, it is cold (Kur bie borë, është ftohtë).

➡ If you touch the fire, you get burned (Nëse e prek zjarrin digjesh).

First & Second Conditional

First Conditional

Future Simple (main clause) + Present Simple (if clause)

➡ If it rains, I will not go to the cinema.

Kushtorja e parë:

Koha e Ardhme (pjesa kryesore) + Koha e Tashme (pjesa kushtore)

➡ Nëse do të bjerë shi, unë nuk do të shkoj në kinema.

*Në shqip ne përdorim kohen e ardhme në të dyja pjesët.

Second Conditional

Future In The Past Verb (main clause) + Past Simple (if clause)

➡ If I won the lottery, I would buy my dream house.

Kushtorja e dytë:

E Ardhmja e Së Shkuarës (pjesa kryesore) + Koha e Shkuar (Pjesa kushtore)

➡ Nëse do ta fitoja llotarine, do të blija shtëpinë e ëndrrave të mia.

*Në shqip ne përdorim kohen e ardhme të së shkuarës në të dyja pjesët.
